I am a both a storyteller and a visual artist. I feel very lucky to have been given the good fortune, skill and privilege to photograph so many beautiful places; fascinating people, amazing things in the most extraordinary of circumstances.
My qualifications: Hopefully my images speak for themselves but I think it is good for my clients to know more about my background. I was professionally trained for 3 years at the renowned photography school, Blackpool & Fylde College in Lancashire. After graduating, I headed south to London to begin work as a photographers assistant in the commercial and advertising industry. Following several years working as a civilian photographer attached to the Royal Navy, I opened my own studio on North London. During that time my work was very diverse and included photographing several well-known people such as Sir Richard Branson, the explorer Sir Ranulf Fiennes and HRH the Queen Mother amongst others. I then went to work in North America for several years before returning to the UK.
I use state of the art Nikon equipment, the highest quality lenses, portable lighting and the latest post production software in creating my photographs.
